Work in an organisation
If your grunden.ai account belongs to an organisation, an administrator decides some of what the app does. This page explains what they control, and what to do when something is missing.
See which organisation you are in
Section titled “See which organisation you are in”The account menu shows the organisation you work in. If you belong to more than one, you can switch between them there.
If a switch fails, nothing changes. The app stays in the organisation it was already in.
If the app cannot check your organisation at all, it keeps trying by itself. You do not need to do anything.
Open the console to administer
Section titled “Open the console to administer”Administrators work in the Grunden Cowork Console. You open it from the app, and it signs you in on the way. There is no second password.
What an administrator controls
Section titled “What an administrator controls”| What | How it affects you |
|---|---|
| Policies | An administrator can manage features and settings centrally. When they do, the app shows Organization policies active, so a setting never looks editable when it is not. |
| Updates | A new version can exist without being approved for your organisation yet. The app names the version and asks you to contact an administrator. |
| Plugins | Your organisation shares plugins with you. They appear by themselves. The app asks you before it installs any part that can run code. |
| Skills | Colleagues can share skills with the whole organisation, or with named people. |
| Connectors | Some connectors are set up centrally, not by each person. |
| Workspaces | Some organisations limit how many workspaces each person can have. |
Why a feature might be missing
Section titled “Why a feature might be missing”If a feature is missing, or a setting is locked, there are usually two reasons:
- A policy controls it.
- Nobody has shared it with you.
The app tells you which one when it can. If it cannot, ask an administrator in your organisation. They can see what you cannot.
